(ST. LOUIS) May 29, 2018 – ITEN (www.itenstl.org) is excited to announce that Medical Transportation Management, Inc. (MTM) is joining the Corporate Innovation Program (CIP) aimed at bringing together two complementary communities – established corporations and tech startups. The CIP seeks to foster symbiotic relationships between established, experienced companies; and nimble, innovative, tech startups in support of launching new ventures. The CIP includes several structured initiatives that are geared towards connecting these two communities in mutually beneficial ways.
Throughout ITEN’s 10-year history, significant focus has been placed on supporting and educating scalable tech startups. With the CIP, additional value in the form of market access and customer research is provided to early-stage tech startups. “We are excited to have MTM join this program as Health Tech is one of the fastest growing areas for innovation. This program will support MTM’s commitment to exploring new opportunities for growth which will also be beneficial to our startups and the region,” said ITEN Executive Director Mary Louise Helbig.
“As a supporter of innovation, MTM is honored to join ITEN’s CIP to help empower and support tech startups in the St. Louis region,” said MTM President and CEO Alaina Macia. “Our ultimate goal is to operate as a full-service healthcare logistics solution that can deliver the right care, at the right time, in the right place—and to do so, we’re looking for partnerships in key markets. Our place in the CIP won’t just allow us to support high-impact tech innovation in the region; it will also allow us to identify potential partners for strategic growth, helping startups grow quickly by collaborating with a transportation and healthcare industry leader.”
Founded in 2008, ITEN added the Corporate Innovation Program (CIP) in 2015 which includes: Ameren, Enterprise Holdings, Mercy, Monsanto and RGAx. Also added to its growing suite of core offerings to accelerate tech startups are the newly released EUREKA!
