ITEN’s Startup Internship Program (SIP),  provides mentoring, networking, and professional development opportunities for motivated students, looking to gain experience with tech startups and pursue entrepreneurial careers. SIP also provides St. Louis startups with fresh talent and ideas to help them gain a valuable competitive edge. Ideally, SIP STL will attract and retain talent to the region, while stimulating economic growth.

How does the Startup Internship Program work?

For Students: You’re looking for an internship opportunity at a startup in St. Louis. You submit your resume to itenstl.org.  ITEN will be screening and matching student applicants who will go to work with some of the 250+ tech startups in the ITEN community. Submit your application here.

For Companies: Companies interested in working with an intern must registered with ITEN, have at least one full-time employee who will supervise the intern, and have an office in a public or professional building. The Internship position starts with unpaid.  But we leave it to you to consider whether or not compensation is something the company wishes to provide. Submit your company intern request here.

ITEN also partners with local universities. The universities might give credit hours for students who are enrolled in this program. The startup company does not provide compensation to the interns.
