May 15, 2020 – With COVID-19, schools are rapidly changing the basic way they do their work. Many are trying to recreate the school setting online using digital tools like Zoom. Others are in-between, directing students to online tutoring, online courses, and posting videos.
In the current crisis, COVID is forcing parents to be teachers and forcing students, parents, and teachers, to adapt to online learning tools. Online tools can be helpful complements to in-person instruction—instead of a replacement for it—allowing teachers to focus more on engaging students and mentoring them.
We are delighted to share how one of our ITEN member companies, TimeBolt, is saving time for creators of video education and podcast content, in allowing them to spend more of their valuable time planning and making lectures not editing video. TimeBolt is the first pre-processor to automate the removal of dead air from video and audio podcasts.

“As an educator forced online due to Covid-19, timebolt has saved me hours of editing my online lectures. I wish I had found it sooner!”
“TimeBolt is a lifesaver! I was looking for something to speed up the editing process to remove all my pauses for my e-learning course and this was just the thing. Not exaggerating but this probably will save me 50% of my total editing time! Oh and Doug and his team modified the build of the program slightly to accommodate my file type the SAME DAY I emailed – totally amazing service!”
