If your venture has an e-commerce strategy, a social media component or is dependent on successful internet marketing, this mentoring program is designed to help you effectively address challenges you are encountering and to accelerate your success.

The mentors for this program are selected based on their own first-hand experience with e-commerce and internet marketing for their own ventures, or because they are an experienced service provider specializing in helping others with e-commerce, social media or internet business strategies.
Ventures selected to present to the mentor group begin with a 10-15 minute powerpoint presentation that covers these areas:
Company overview and objectives
Company's e-commerce/web business strategy
What's working/not working with the current strategy
Ideas about how the perceived deficiencies will be addressed
Mentors then question and comment on the company presentation and offer specific and concrete suggestions as to how the company can accelerate its progress. The companies will also receive a quantitative evaluation of the following areas of their strategy and tactics:
Search engine strategy
Social media strategy
Other online marketing strategy
Commerce/cash flow mechanics
Traditional marketing strategy
Use of service providers/consultants
Companies will receive a video of their presentation and mentor evaluation, along with comments and suggestions on how the company can improve their online results. Individual mentors may volunteer to work with the ventures after the mentoring session. Ventures may also be invited to come back to the mentor group at a later date to report on their progress and for additional suggestions.
One venture will be accepted into the E-Commerce/Web Business Mentoring Program each month. The venture must be engaged in on-going business or at a minimum have a beta site that is being used by live customers. Approval of your application is based on the information in the application as well as the information in your Company Profile on the ITEN site. If you are admitted into the program, we will contact you to schedule your session.
