- Mentoring ITEN's mentors have experience in all of the key areas that challenge the IT start-up. Many mentors have experience at the senior level in IT start-ups. Others have related expertise that gives them an invaluable perspective for what makes ventures successful. when you join ITEN, you'll get access to many excellent mentors who can guide you to minimize your mistakes and accelerate your progress. By selecting a mentor who has expertise in an area you need help, you will be addressing the needs of your growing company one area at a time. As you overcome one challenge, another challenge will arise. You may select another mentor with the new expertise that's needed, and so on from there.
- Mongel Training As your company evolves, and you are ready to convince potential investors that you have a great opportunity for them, apply for the Mongel Training Program. A group of about a dozen ITEN mentors with particular expertise in raising money for or investing in early-stage companies gathers to preview ITEN start-ups investor pitches. You'll get great feedback and suggestions before presenting to actual investors. When your presentation is determined to be ready, ITEN is developing a growing list of investors looking for graduates from this unique program.
- Beta Program If your company is providing a service or producing a product that may be of interest to larger corporations, the Beta Program may be for you. Through ITEN's community contacts via the IT Coalition, Innovate St. Louis and others, companies accepted into this program are matched with large company early adopters. This can ultimately result in a major customer for a start-up that would ordinarily have difficulty getting a foot in the door. Applications to the Beta Program are being accepted, but we're just getting started on this, so please have a great deal of patience as we promote and position this innovative program within our community.
- Events Attend ITEN's networking events and meet other entrepreneurs, business leaders and investors. ITEN's events as well as a more comprehensive listing of regional events of interest to entrepreneurs, are also to be found on the events calendar at our partner service, StLSourcelink.
- Company News Post news and updates about your company on the ITEN site. Let the community know the progress you're making and innovations your company brings to its customers.
- Job Openings Post opportunities in your company and find the best talent to help your venture move ahead. St. Louis has a wealth of human capital; let ITEN help you find it.
