August 22, 2001 - Yurbuds announced they have launched their product in a local Apple store and promptly sold the entire stock in the first day. Other Apple stores are planned to launch on August 22nd. In addition, Yurbuds just received a very substantial order from WalMart for immediate delivery. WalMart is migrating their electronics sections towards becoming Apple-centric with special sections dedicated to Apple accessories - where Yurbuds product will be positioned.
These developments puts Yurbuds into Apple, Best Buy, Target, Walmart, Dick's Sporting Goods, Sports Authority, Foot Locker (running centric stores) and AAFES among several other mass retailers in addition to a core of 600+ specialty running stores where Yurbuds has a dominant shelf-space position.
