Start-Up Weekend
This event will be held later in the year. Check back for updates - Think you want to start a tech company but a little hesitant to take the leap? The Startup Weekend is a great way to get started: a 54-hour make-a-startup marathon led by internationally-recognized facilitators. Participants pitch their ideas Friday night and then form teams around the most interesting. By Sunday night most will have working prototypes, basic business plans, and even web sites and marketing material. One or two may become the seeds that grow into the next big deals. This is the first time Start Up Weekend is being offered in St. Louis. Begins Friday evening and goes all day Saturday and Sunday. (A great follow-up to the Innovation Camp!)
