April 4-5, 2012 - InvestMidwest Venture Capital Forum at Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark.

Final Application Deadline January 13

The 2012 InvestMidwest will include three separate industry tracks presenting concurrently: a life sciences track, an IT/general business track and a clean energy/sustainability track. The presentations from 40 to 45 emerging businesses will each be ten minutes in length. An opportunity for individual meetings with the
presenting companies will be provided.

High growth companies from throughout the Midwest are encouraged to apply to present at the conference. The selection committee includes venture capital professionals from throughout the Midwest and select corporate, legal and financial professionals.

The audience includes venture capitalists, private equity investors, corporate investors, private investors and business development, financial and legal professionals.

The main goal of InvestMidwest is to provide access to capital for emerging, privately held companies and to promote greater entrepreneurship, business growth and expansion in the region.

May 8, 2012 - Start Up Connection - Our region's premier networking event for early-stage tech companies to meet up with regional talent and anyone interested in what's going on with new tech ventures in St. Louis.

The Spring 2012 Start Up Connection will be held on May 10 at the very cool IT-centric T-Rex facility at 615 Olive, 12th floor downtown.  Technology companies wishing to participate need to apply to be accepted.   This event is free for all: exhibiting companies, opportunity seekers, and interested public, but advanced registration will be required.    Watch this space for registration information, coming soon.

(September 23-25, 2012)The hot news at Strange Loop HQ of late is the beginning of the schedule selection process for Strange Loop 2012. We have already confirmed our first keynote speaker but you'll have to wait a while before we make things public.

The conference will be September 23-25, 2012. We will be using the Union Station Marriott in downtown St. Louis as our conference hotel and as the venue for Sunday events. We will use the historic Peabody Opera House to host our main event on Monday and Tuesday.

Clojure/West Schedule

Clojure/West is a 2 day, 3-room conference focusing on the Clojure community. Prior to the conference, a number of Clojure training classes are available.
